The year 2015 was a great year for CMS VATAVARAN. We successfully organized the 8th editionfrom October 9-13, 2015 at NDMC Convention Centre in New Delhi. More than 4000 people from all walks of life were part of the film festival and forum. Preceding the festival in October was a two-month long (August and September) campaign called “Water Festival’ which saw participation of 24 schools and 3 educational institutions in Delhi NCR.
We thank everyone for supporting us and making the 8th edition a successful event.
Join us now in our travelling edition, as we travel to seven river front cities- Allahabad, Guwahati, Trichy, Nasik,Gandhinagar, Mangalore and Mahbubnagar from mid- 2016 onwards. The festival will be held in multiple venues to facilitate the participation of diverse audience in each city. The festival will include film screenings, open forums, panel discussions on local water issues, filmmaking workshops, etc.CMS VATAVARAN will also engage with its audiences through fun filled and interactive programmes by organizing cleaning drives, tree plantations,competitions for students, engaging workshops, etc.
