Centre for Environment Education hosted a workshop for teachers from various schools of Delhi NCR on the issue of educating students about conservation of environment. Teachers from several schools of Delhi NCR actively participated in the workshop. The facilitators informed teachers about methods of educating children about the environment and covered topics such as medicinal plants and discussed their benefits and uses, and developing medicinal plant gardens in schools. Activity based educational tools for making children aware of water in nature were also shared with the teachers.
